The Pretty Thing are now in our 11th season. Having operated for many years as a Caravan and Motorhome club site, we expanded due to constant demand for pitches. We still hold fast to the principles of the club in terms of being quiet, peaceful and friendly and can also guarantee lovely neighbours while you are here.

We provide plenty of space between pitches, 18 electric hook ups and a modern water & chemical disposal point.

We allow one car to park next to each pitch and are happy for you to erect awnings but these must not spread onto your neighbours pitch.

Pup tents can be booked but, again, these must be on your pitch.

NB: We cannot accept commercial vehicles 

Motorhomes

We welcome all motorhomes and campervans, and are happy with you erecting drive away and standard awnings. However, there are a couple of things to bear in mind when visiting:

a) We are roughly 2.5 miles from local shops, pubs & restaurants so for most guests thats not really walkable, if you dont want to move your motorhome, especially the larger ones, then bikes or alternative transport are recommended. Luckily we have Georges onsite for teas, coffee's and snacks...

b) We have two large hard standing motorhome pitches, if you have a larger motorhome, please call or message and let us know.

General guidelines

We use environmentally friendly chemical disposal points & soakaways. In very wet weather these can react very slowly when draining. also, whilst there is more about this in our park rules , please, please please do not put wet wipes in the drains! (They WILL block our pipes and its not pleasant clearing them out)
